SHOW LAUNCH

Walsall Operatic Society are thrilled to announce that their next production will be the smash hit musical, Full Monty!
 
Based upon the 1997 film of the same name, The Full Monty tells the story of six unemployed Buffalo steel workers, low on both cash and prospects, who decide to stage a strip show at a local club after seeing their wives’ enthusiasm for a touring company of ‘The Chippendales’. As they prepare for the show, working through their fears, self consciousness and anxieties, they overcome their inner demons and find strength in each other.

SHOW DETAILS

  • The Full Monty will take place at The Prince of Wales Theatre, Cannock.
  • Performances will be during the week beginning 20th March 2023.
  • Rehearsals will take place every Thursday evening at The Lamp, Brownhills.
  • Potentially, the rehearsal schedule may increase to include some Tuesdays.

  • Auditions will take place on 30th October at The Lamp, Brownhills.
  • A dance workshop will be held on 27th October (7.30pm) at The Lamp, Brownhills. We strongly recommend that those interested in leading parts attend.
